It’s always exciting to see new kids boutiques open, where you can go in store and see everything up close! Kids Style Hub, is a one stop shop not to be missed if you are a Melbourne (and surrounds) local! Featuring an enormous 100+ brands, the concept brings together talented Australian and New Zealand designers all under the one roof, with a super child friendly cafe, party room, crafting workshop and even a photo gallery.

Being a designer herself, owner Nicole Herrick saw a need to allow designers the opportunity to focus on what they do best – designing and creating – while taking care of marketing their wares for them! So all products are provided on consignment basis at no risk to the designers and full profit for their efforts is achieved with every sale (KSF take a small commission to cover their costs!).

Not content with just helping out designers and providing a space full of gorgeous products for us all to buy, Nicole has set up a gallery space showcasing various photographers work. What is unique about the gallery is that all the photos are displayed anonymously and KSH help you choose a style that is the best fit for your family – instead of basing your decision on price or reputation! What a wonderful way to get photos to suit your family’s personality.

We also love that there are no skinny, pram resistant aisles, that the sound of children exploring happily is welcomed,  and breakables are kept up high (and shouldn’t that always be the case in a kids store!). Your kids will probably not appreciate all of those child friendly features, because they’ll be too busy out back with Rubble Art’s wonderful craft activities….so get browsing while you can! Or take advantage of the chance to put your feet up in the retro lounge and actually finish the first cup of coffee you’ve been given in the last how many years? While it’s hot too! Bliss.
