sparking creativity in a box

My kids love it when the postman knocks on the door with a parcel and are often more than a little miffed when the parcel is not addressed to them. So the idea that a box would appear monthly with their name on it, full of a surprise craft activity inside, would be bliss for them.

Kiwi Crate does exactly that. By purchasing a monthly subscription, for the low price of $19.95 (US), your child will receive a box full of craft materials and inspiration each month, often themed, but still open ended allowing their own imagination to run wild. Unfortunately shipping is only within the US at this stage, but for our North American friends it is most definitely worth checking out!

As we enter the latter stages of our long Australian Summer school holidays, the idea of these activity crates really is ingenious! Plus they make the perfect, unique gift for children between 3 and 7 years.
Examples of crate themes include dinosaurs, gardening, safari, space and colours.
We hope they open an Australia outlet soon!
